About Us
Our Mission
The purpose of this organization is: to serve as the median through which student ideas and opinions may be presented to faculty and administration; to serve as a governing body for the development, promotion, and administration of student affairs; to give organized student support to educational, recreational, and social activities initiated and sponsored by the school; to bring all clubs, athletic teams, programs and students together to create a unified community; and to form a closer relationship between the students and administration. This organization shall also serve to improve and increase student participation in student activities and to promote school spirit. This board will act as the ultimate representative of the views of the student population by instituting and pursuing polices of interest to the student body of River Ridge High School.

Some of the biggest events that SGA plans and executes include all aspects of Homecoming Week, Prom, Pep Rallies, and Spirit Weeks.
How does one get involved in SGA?
There are several ways that one can get involved in SGA at River Ridge. One way is by joining our SGA Congress as a Homeroom Representative, Club/Athlete Representative, or as a just a member. By being part of the SGA congress you can voice your opinions, plan various school events, and work together with others in SGA to improve the school community. One can also get into SGA by running as an SGA officer.
Who are the SGA officers?
The SGA Officers are the members of the SGA Executive Council. These members include presidents, vice-presidents, secretaries, treasurers, communication directs, and parliamentarians. The current SGA Officers are displayed on the "officers" tab of this website.
